John Cody be our speaker this month in place of Wallace Salisbury who is ill.
John J. Cody was born and raised in New York City (Manhattan) and is the son of an NYPD Police Lieutenant. Mr. Cody graduated from The Citadel in 1976 and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He also holds a Master of Public Administration degree form Springfield College (MA). Subsequent to graduate school, Mr. Cody was appointed a Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and served in the San Francisco, Seattle and Honolulu Field Offices working in the investigative disciplines of White Collar Crimes, Foreign Counter-Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism. On Sept 11, 2001, Mr Cody was permanently assigned to the New Haven Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). From that time until his retirement in February of 2010, Mr. Cody was involved in all aspects of Anti-Terrorism both nationally and internationally with special emphasis related to the northeastern United States.
