Emma Palzere-Rae as Victoria Woodhull

Emma Palzere-Rae is a playwright, actor, director, producer and non-profit administrator. She will present a one-woman show exploring the life of Victoria Woodhull, the woman who ran for President of the United States in 1872, through a contemporary lens. The Woodhull Project was selected to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment.
In the play, Woodhull appears today wondering if she has left any legacy. She explores the question of how we can make a better world, what she would think about the state of women’s rights and social issues today.
Emma Palzere-Rae has appeared in regional, stock, and off-Broadway theater as well as film, television and radio.
A graduate of Emerson College, she is currently the Associate Director of Artreach, Inc. which provides arts programs to adults living with mental illnesses.
