Connecticut boasts some of the oldest and most distinctive architecture in New England, from Colonial churches and Modernist houses to refurbished nineteenth-century factories.  Christopher Wigren, Deputy Director of the CT Trust for Historic Preservation, has brought together 30 years of fieldwork and research.
Much of his work deals with New London County, which is of interest to all of us and which we can see “from the road”.  Mr. Wigren’s presentation will cover “people’s efforts to make what they build beautiful” along with the “practical or technical aspects” of building and design.  This should be an informative and engrossing presentation.  Bring a friend!
